We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator on the General Contractor side
who calculates the total cost of a construction project by analyzing plans, estimating
materials and labor, and considering all direct and indirect expenses. Provide cost
analyses to help the general contractor create accurate bids and ensure profitability for
the project. Salary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
-Performing material takeoffs, understanding blueprints, visiting sites,
collaborating with other professionals, and presenting the final cost estimate.
-Accurate Bidding: Provides the basis for competitive and accurate bids, allowing
the general contractor to win projects.
-Profitability: Ensures that the project costs are calculated correctly, helping the
contractor complete the project profitably.
-Risk Management: Identifies potential cost overruns and helps the contractor
manage risks.
